Andriy has a vision to bring self-sustainable farms to less
fortunate village families. The prototype shown in the
picture above to represent what he wants to do for as many
families as he can. His hopes are the families can both eat and
sell/barter eggs from hens and eat the meat of some chickens
after some hatch. He wants to buy seeds so the families can grow
vegetables for their families and also sell/barter for more
supplies.
The families Andriy knows are not looking for handouts and are willing to work to eat. They live day to day and week to week, not always knowing how they will provide for their families in the coming month. These were particularly hard hit when supply chains failed across Europe and Africa when the lockdowns were instituted. These families faced a complete lack of food which Andriy's FoodBox program helped remedy until things have slowly reopened.
